One of the best setups is C5 Z06 17" front wheels with Hoosier 275/40x17 DR. They'll hold about 600 HP before you'd need something better.

What about tpms...if you install the C5 wheels and D/R's will you have a problem, or do you need to install the tpms sensors too?

345mm is the widest you can go on 12 inch rims. That's a lot of rubber. 4/5 of inch wider than what you have now. Hoosier makes one 30 profile.

They'll be fine for somewhere around 15 miles and then a warning that is overriden by pressing the traction control button once.

If you intend to drive with drag tires often and prefer to know pressures at all times, buy a pair of Orange Electronics sensors and have them cloned to match your regular street tire sensors. That way it makes no difference which tire/wheel combo you have on the car, it'll always read correctly without having to re-program the sensors every time you switch.

Default drag radials

Does anyone make some fo the 19" rear wheels? I have an extra set and would like to stay with them. Use for track only days, then put the Run Flats back on for the wife.

^Yes sir they do. Hoosier as well as Mickey Thompson make 19 inch drag radials for track days or for whatever silliness one comes up with. JUIC3D loves him a 17 inch rim and I agree they are just fine. That said, I have aspired to putting some 19 inch stick icky's on and seeing what is what. I just did the Koni suspension so my best guess is the DR's are next. Don't be scurred...do the 19 inch DR.

That's what happens when I put my DR on. Otherwise, there are no problems with having my Drag Radials on, without TPS sensors on them.
