Default Tire size problems?

It's almost time to replace my rear tires, I was wondering if 295/35/19 will throw off my traction control if I keep the 245/40/18's up front? I've got Z51 so right now its 245/40/18 up front and 285/35/19 in rear. I know its not much bigger but I dont want to rub and I found a great deal on 2 rear tires locally. Tire size calculator i used says with the bigger tire my speedo would read 60 mph when im actually going 60.6 so not sure if that's enough to mess with the traction control. Thanks for your help guys... again!

tire size calc... http://wpfla.com/tools/

take front diameter and divide by .942 giving max rear diameter.
in your case of putting on 295/35/19 , youd be ok (max size 27.3")

long read but informative.. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...d-finally.html

added.. my guess is that you add .6 mph like you said

I ran KDW's in 295/35/19 before going to 325s, zero issues at all

What will you do if there are problems and the computer is not happy? People who have had problems here have reported that the computer doesn't object until the car is at higher speeds....is it worth taking a chance?

Me too - fit is perfect - I did find the KDW's to be a little noisy though...

I've heard the same thing (higher speeds). Thats why when i change to pilot super sports this spring I will go with the 255/40/18 to match the 295/35/19 rears and keep the proper 1.1-1.2 oem stagger. Like you imply why create problems when you don't have to, just keep everything nice and simple.
