Just want to get some opinions on 2LT vs 3LT on 2012 or 2013's.
I know that in 2Lt you give up the memory settings, heated seats and telescoping steering wheel.
But do you give up anything else? Are the seats any different other than heated?
And since 2LT now comes with nav and heads I think I could give up those other options to save a few grand.

I got a 2013 Grand Sport and it had to be 3LT since I was coming from a 2005 C6 that had the memory seats, heated seats, etc.
If you are getting a convertible, the 3LT also includes power top.
3LT gets you..
I love the adjustable lumbar and side bolsters. I have it set so the seats feel like they are hugging me.
There is a $3k difference between the packages. If these options are not important to you, I say get the 2LT model.

3LT gets you..
Universal Home Remote
Power bolster and power lumbar seat adjusters
Seats, heated driver and front passenger
Memory Package, recalls 2 driver "presets" for 6-way power seat, outside mirrors and telescoping steering column
Sport bucket seats with perforated leather seating surfaces
Solid and perforated leather seating surfaces. These seats incorporate adjustable lumbar and side bolsters for added comfort and support.

Plus I have only had 3LT's so it would be tough to downgrade.

Anyone else besides you driving the 'Vette? If so, that's where those memory settings come in handy.

Yeah, I bounced around the idea of getting a 2LT trying to tell myself I didn't need the 3LT options but it came down to the same feeling. That if I went 2LT it would be a downgrade of what I already have and you don't buy a new car to downgrade.

Heated seats can always be added to the 2LT.

I went from a 2007 3LT to a 2013 2LT. My wife misses the heated seats but I rarely used them. The only thing I miss a little is the memory seats. I don't miss having the couple of extra thousand in my pocket.

Not worth the extra cost to me.

Currently have a 2010 3LT base convertible.
Want to buy a 2013 3LT base coupe. Can't find one with the 3LT pkg.
It seems that the dealers want you to buy a GS if you want all the toys.
I guess there is more money in a GS.
Looks like I will be driving the 10 for a while longer. I really like the heated seats. Don't need the HUD or T&T wheel or Mem seats. Not a fan of aftermarket anything.

I only have a 1LT but I went from an 87 C4 to a 2013 so I consider it an upgrade
The only options I have are the larger disk brakes, black headlight housings, and the exhaust...

I'm 6'2" and it's always hard to find the balance between streaching my left arm to the steering wheel or sitting close and cramping my legs.
So Power Telescoping Steering is awesome, not sure if 2LT and 1LT has a mechanical Telescoping Steering than just having it powered isn't so awesome to me.
Same here, being pretty tall I drive with the steering wheel pretty low with my left hand in the top center, I always cover the top of the speedo, having HUD I thought was a gimic, but now I cannot live without it, seriously I can now know the speed without moving my arm and bending my head down.
