Default perfect day for a cruise.

What a beautiful day. Couldn't pass up the photo op or cruising all day!

Nice picture, but that had to be afternoon. We had snow this morning about 2 hours down the road from you.

Hey you kid! Get off my lawn!

On a serious note, congrats on the good weather and the cruise.

Around 9 total, but about half of it is wooded. It was originally 4.5 acres, but when the empty lot right next door came up for sale when the construction business owner came under some hard times, we picked up the adjacent lot he'd been sitting on 4.35 acres for $100k off his original asking price, he was desperate for some cash flow. Will take more pics when the trees are actually green. It's pretty serene despite being only a few miles from major highways. The house is my parents, but they moved to their vacation home at the Lake of the Ozarks, so I'm pretty much a caretaker until they decide to sell one or the other and downsize. My house that I sold to move in here was much more modest. No complaints here as it saves me from a mortgage, but the cooling bill in the summertime can really be painful.

As far as snow just a couple hours away, I'm pretty surprised to hear that. It stayed nice all day up here! Sounds like we dodged a bullet.

This is funny, because it actually happened! The Doctor, whose lawn I was standing in when I took the pic drove by and shouted out the window of his SUV. It's all in good fun since I take care of his lawn for him. Poor guy needs a cane to get around these days.

I'm jealous. Probably won't get mine out for another month. Lots of salt and snow here, really messy. Enjoy you lucky guy.
