Default 3LT or 4LT?? I pulled the trigger and went with the F55 (and those F1's) PICTURES!!

Couldn't resist the loaded up model! So on Friday, we flew from Seattle to Minneapolis, then on to Madison, WI. Spent the night, and headed to the dealership on Saturday (8* outside....those F1's)

Left by noon (at a balmy 17*) and headed due SOUTH! Tires were firm, but there was no precip (very light flurry) Had no problems, didn't stop until Springfield, MO (600 miles). Temps climbed to the low 30's.

The car is really a dream. Only issue we had was the mirror compass got out of whack, so we had to do a "recalibration" in a parking lot late in the day.

So today (Saturday) we are headed down to join I-40. Hope to make Tucumcari, NM by tonight, then Vegas the next day!!!!

Thanks for all the advice on my earlier post!

More pictures on the way!

Outstanding

You guys will love the trip and time together!

I always wanted a Vette, but underestimated how much my wife would enjoy it. The Vette to both of us represents fun and togetherness. Even with a solid marriage of 30 years we have never been closer.....trips like you are taking together in your Vette are priceless.

Enjoy the ride!, Happy for you both!

I kind of laughed when you said you came from Seattle and picked it up in Madison. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger also, with the C7 coming out and the dealers discounting the C6 and then with the Corvette loyalty they're hard to pass up. I don't live far from Madison and I'm looking around the country to find the best deal and here you come to Madison for your best deal or was it just the perfect car? Just wondering what dealer did you go to and what kind of a deal did you get. Oh by the way the car looks fantastic. I really like the C7, but like the C6 also and the prices are hard to beat. I feel like just going around to the local dealers and showing them the ads that are on the forum and see if they can at least match it.

Although I like the idea of the road trip you're taking, I'm thinking about picking up a car closer and doing a trip in summer. Again looks fantastic!

Very nice! Good call on getting the loaded one.

I went 3ZR on my '11 ZR1 and 3LZ on my '12 ZO6. I love the full leather interiors. F55 is also great. Don't have it on my ZO6, but wish I did.

That Inferno Orange looks a lot like my Torch Red in that lighting. It really "pops" nicely.

Congrats and enjoy!

Enjoy the ride!, Happy for you both!

47 years of marriage, a bunch of long road trips in the past, 3 or 4 long rides planned for this year, and a bunch more on the bucket list. Wouldn't go anywhere without The Navigator!
