Kelly Bluebook FINALLY giving our low mileage C6's their proper worth.
Whenever I used kelly bluebook to see what my C6 vette or any other C6 vette was worth trade in or private party I noticed that only a few hundred dollars seperated a low 2-6 thousand mile C6 compared to say a 25-35 thousand mile C6. Well I am glad kelly Bluebook FINALLY got it figured out ,yesterday I plugged in my 2008 vert with 4500 miles and all the options on my car and trade in value VG-EX showed a amount of $36800 when I plugged in the same car with 35000 miles on the clocck $28500 came up as trade in price for the same exact car and options only difference being the mileage. Well I am glad my low mileage C6 is worth $8000 dollars more due to the low mileage discount that KB finally gave corvette owners their due. Our cars are not like other cars when it pertains to mileage difference. Also Kb says they update every 2 weeks now compared to maybe every 6 months as before.

I agree. NADA is a much better indicator of what you should expect. The KBB numbers might make you feel better about your ultra low mileage C6 but if you're not driving it in hopes that it will retain much better value I just don't think it's worth it. Lifes too short, drive the crap out of it.

If you think your going to get 8k more than the next guy with the same car because of your low mileage your dreaming. The only person who benefits is the next owner.

You guys keep it up.
In a couple of years I am going to want to buy another.
I like buying from guys who never drive their cars...
Ducati's are the same way.
Pay 20K for a true superbike and never use it.

As stated previously, KBB is rarely used by dealerships. It's private party value is usually pretty high as well, but it's easier to use it with a private sale.
Most dealers use the black book.

What book do you look at to get the value of an enjoyable day with friends racking up some miles on your Vette? How much is the "fun" worth to the guy who drove his car that extra 31,500 miles?

No disrespect to a low mile owner, but I will be buying a low mile 427 Vert in a few years.....thanks in advance for not driving my future car

NADA is the best to go by.
When I go shopping and I know the car I want, I give the VIN to my banker and she tells me what it is worth.
Then I start haggling.
In this market... Cash works great at dealerships.
I have not ever had a car dealer say no when I make a cash offer.
If they haggle above my OTD cash offer, I get up to leave and they always cave.

How much does it cost you if you have over 105,000 miles, Have driven it in the rain and snow, It actually has some minor chips in the paint, and you changed from Mobile 1 oil to Valvoline Syn power? I'll take the retail hit for the fun of actually driving mine !!! I guarantee, when I sell mine (If I ever do) It will not have single bit of its factory allocated fun factor left in it for any one else to enjoy !! JMHO of course

$8k vs 20,000 miles of smiles?
While I'm glad to hear KBB is acknowledging low miles properly, I have to wonder which is worth more: the $8,000 more dollars your car will be worth when you trade it in or the 20,000 more miles of smiles?
I'd rather spend my time going on road trips and making up meaningless arends to run in my Vette, than worry about what it will be worth WHEN I trade it in. Just my .02

When I traded my Honda S2000 it had 125,000 miles on it all put on by me. I got $8k in trade. If it had only 25,000 miles on it I likely would have gotten $10k in trade. An extra $2,000 bucks for not enjoying it those additional 100,000 miles?
