I know there are threads about this, but the search turned up a lot of results about brake shoes and driving but not many about driving shoes.

To my point. I am going to Spring Mountain next month and I am looking for advice on shoes. Am I OK with my well worn running shoes or do I need to look for something more minimal? I would rather not spend $100 on a pair of shoes I may never use again.
