New Member, coming from the import world.
Hello all.
My name is Scott and it looks like I'll be coming to the Corvette world within the next 6 months or so. I'm selling my current car (modified 2006 Subaru WRX STI) and looking to pick up a used Grand Sport C6 Corvette Coupe in Crystal Gray, manual transmission. Reason being, my wife wants my STI and I'm actually a Chevrolet salesman which is what is prompting the change. I'm not a paying vendor, so you won't see me trying to sell or anything here or any such nonsense. Just wanted to get that out of the way. It'll be my daily driver/weekend warrior for track days and such. On some of these smaller AutoX courses I wonder if I'll ever make it out of 1st gear...
Anyway, nice forum. Wish there were dedicated color code photo threads, but that's my only gripe.

Welcome to the group, I've got an 11 Grand Sport 'Vert and did some autox with her last year, did about 8 events last year. If you're an experienced AutoXr, you're going to love the Grand Sport! Personally, I needed an "starter" car to learn on for AutoXing - the Vette was going to get me in trouble out there on the course, so I just picked up a gutted Miata to race while I learn the ins and outs without risking the health of my 'Vette - which I will continue to drive, enjoy and show and will probably still poke about as some autox with when I'm not driving the Miata. Once I learn how to handle the courses, I'll go back to "more power".

Thank you!
In all honesty I'm not the biggest AutoX fan, I prefer road courses. A Miata is pretty much the perfect autox car though, thats for sure!
Ah gotcha.
Hah! It's a Subaru
Mine's got oh just a wee bit more than that done to it.
They really did a great job with the Grand Sport, plus the LS3 is pretty much asleep in stock form.
I'm a huge performance guy, so only the Vette's and the ZL1 Camaro really even interest me. Chevy's whole lineup has really impressed me 2011+
It now has the stock wing back on and no mud flaps:

Welcome! I came from import land as well. Had an RX-8 and a 350Z Roadster. Traded the Z and picked up my first one used in 06. I'm now on Vette number two! It's an addiction for sure!
