Hi *,

When I bought my vette it had a driver seat airbag deployed. I recently replaced the seats with new ones, but the airbag lamp stays on on the dashboard.

Which to me means one of two things (or may be both)

- The error must be cleaned not via obd2
- An airbag module must be replaced

And also, is it 1 module for all airbags, or are dashboard/steering airbags controlled by a different module than the seat airbags?

The airbag module (DERM) can be rearmed, many advertising that serve on Ebay, at least you have a module, I don't and am having difficulty finding one that I can get rearmed, there is a 8 digit code on it, mine is a 15812677.

What do you mean you dont have one? I got one I can sell if you need it. But its deployed. You mean there's a core charge to get an armed one?

I am looking for a replacement one, you just need to have yours rearmed. Mine is gone, actually the guy I bought the car from gave me the wrong one. You have it easy.

Who can rearm this? I search on ebay "corvette derm rearm" but nothing comes up really. I can sell you a unit (to be rearmed) if you want. I got 2.

Try this place www.contemporarycorvette.com they may have the module you are looking for. They have several wrecked C6 cars. Get one that needs to be reset.
