At 58,000+ my 06 has always had Mobil 1 (I'm the 2nd owner) but in my motorcycles I've always used Amsoil and love it! I just sold an 82 CBX with 102,000+ on it and had never even had the head off. My Hayabusa has over 50,000 on it and has always had Amsoil. Ducati 999, another Honda CBX, Triumph 955 triple, all worked very well with Amsoil. Change it every 5,000 or so and about three tablespoons of oil is all it ever uses. Very good motorcycle specific engine oil but I've never tried any in the Vette. Can't imagine it being a wrong decision to use it though.

Any motor oil that has the recommended GM ratings will be fine in a vette for street use, and OP, many members here use many different brands of oil in their vette.
I personally use Mobil1, because I've used it for years, but in the past I've used Castrol Syntec, Amsoil, and other synthetic brands, and would not lose a moment of sleep if I decided to change brands now.

Amsoil
I use Mobile One, and Amsoil. Gm is going to sponsor Mobile due to a contract. The big thing I look at is the API. If it meets the rating I for it. I believe if I'm happy with what I use then its Cool. This is Americia I have no reason to get upset with anyone who uses a brand of oil. You pay the bills so go for it. I'v been using Amsoil since 1990. I have never had any issues with this oil. I'v even gone to using 0-30 weight with great results in my fuel mileage. I say an increase in mileage, a drop in temps. So for me I'm happy with Amsoil. I'v come to the conclusion there are really no bad oils out there. If you change your oil at its correct intervals you'll be fine.

Amway Oil?
So super awesome and better than everything that you have to get it from a special dealer. Store shelves can't handle the pyramid....err...power.

I switched from Castrol to Mobil-1 in my race engines in the mid 90's because of residue I didn't like...have been using nothing but Mobil-1 since, but that's because I liked it when I switched and have no reason to switch again. I did switch from a non-synthetic Castrol, so I also believe any synthetic would have likely given the same results.

have used nothing but Mobil 1 and AMSOIL for 30 years almost....started with Mobil1 and switched to AMSOIL about 13 years ago....never looked back. If you go with any of the top products and do some research on their overall protection....I dont think you can go wrong with either to be truthful.
