Not sure exactly what your asking, you mean power coming from your radar detector needs to be hooked into the pink & black wire of your mirror connection?

Here's a link that might be helpful: http://www.bugmanweb.com/c6/escort.html

Your power cord coming out of your radar detector should have two wires, a power & a ground. Just splice it into your mirror

Hmm that I can't help with, haven't seen one either. Is the power connection like these? http://www.buyradardetectors.com/Pro...cessories.aspx

If so just go to a radio shack and get you one and use that to splice into instead of using the original.

You can.
Just know it probably won't be 'switched' meaning you'll have to remember to unplug the sucker yourself, else you know what'll happen.

Having a detector activate/deactivate with the ignition is, to me, one of life's pleasures.

If you use the heated seat fuse , it will be switched with the ignition.

Excellent point, Pat.

OP, choose the right fuse & you'll be good to go for a switched circuit.
