Today I ordered the 5 book set of shop manuals and...
the 67" Race Ramps Service Ramps and a set of 10" Crib blocks...

This will help me fix or be armed with information If I need any Ext .Warr repairs. they will pay for themselves in DIY maint. Jobs

i hate getting confused, and it happens often. I thought the shop manuals were 3 books, not 5???? Are you talking helms, or another?

Next you need a good scantool to work with. Any thoughts on what would be a good choice ?
Also my 2010 GM Corvette Service Manuals are 4 books. Order from GM.

these are the 3 red vette books and the 2 Purple? 2006 GM books supposed to be the same as used in the deaership

I haven't looked at scan tools yet... never needed one... I am on a first name basis with the guys over at advance auto parts.. they have scan tools if I need one.... and I think Auto zone has free loaners( you pay for it and either keep it or bring it back for a full refund ( did this for an A/C gauge set and vacuum pump when replacing daughters A/C compressor)

They are building an OReilly auto parts in town right now...maybe they have a deal on one at Grand Opening

I'm with you. I have the 87" 2 piece Race Ramps, (2) 10" cribs, the 2010 (4 book) manuals, and a scan tool. I have used the manuals a few times already.

Haven't needed the scan tool yet but like to be prepared.
