Another vette gone to vette heaven...
Well I heard today from a friend of mine that one of his friends wrecked his vette. He was in the process of finding a buyer to sell it to buy a 427. Noone was hurt but I don't have any information other than he flipped it over somehow. I am guessing maybe someone pulled out in front of him on the highway or something but just thought I would share this horrendous picture with you guys so you can shed a tear for another vette gone to the other side.
EDIT: Sorry for the confusion guys. No it was not a test driver driving. It was my friend Chase's buddy Anthony. It was Anthony's Z, so the owner WAS driving the car. I was only meaning that earlier in the week Anthony had put the car up for sale and was looking for a new buyer, but was not at the time of the wreck with a "test driver"
Before..
After..

He went to the hospital afterwards to get checked out and everything and is all drugged up on pain meds but other than that he is okay and wasn't hurt badly, thankfully!

Wow, lucky he was not seriously injured, the car is obviously toast.

It's a testament to the amazing crash protection these cars have! I've seen a number of horrific looking Vette crashes on the forums over the years where it looked like the person would have for sure died or at least had major injuries but then you hear they walked away safely.

Well here's an update guys.. I talked to my buddy and found out that the driver was speeding a little and hit a dip in the road, which led to him trying to brake. After the dip was a large patch of dirt (West Texas) which led to the complete loss of control. The car went through a fence on the side of the road and caught a little air (narrowly missing a light pole) causing it to be rolled 5 or 6 times
Everyone is 100% correct, he definitely had some angels looking over him last night for him to walk away from this! He is a good guy and has been given a second chance at life.

That looks really F'ing bad because the accident itself...from what the gentleman above just posted...was bad. I spend most all my working days in the ER and I would love to hear this story. Leaf springs are a bitch by the way.
