I purchased a set and like them. Only one issue - I can hear them rattle a bit, especially with the top down at low speeds. Nothing a bit of silicone or some other quick fix can't address.

would these be a little better for oil changes or just different strokes for different folks,

They have to be somewhat loose in order for any moisture to escape the weep holes. You don't want water sitting in your frame

These look like a great idea. Now if we could only get the tech's to position the lift arms under them there would be no worries.

can they be easily removed? I know they're designed to not fall out, but if I want to take them out manually, can I? If I do remove them, does it damage them?

That brings up a question -- with these pucks is it still possible for a tech using a standard lift to break or bend the rocker panels?

I don't see how. The are just thick enough to clear the rockers
