Convex mirror
Just curious if anyone uses a small convex mirror on your drivers side rear-view mirror? I bought a small 2" one to help view the blind spot.

NO!!! There are no blind spots. The mirrors on the C6 are very good. Your issue is that you haven't adjusted them correctly. You do NOT need three views of the same car behind you. You adjust the center mirror for cars directly behind. The driver's and passenger mirrors should NOT be able to see those cars. They are adjusted to see the cars in the lanes beside you. You should NOT be able to see the side of your own car in either door mirror unless you lean WAY over.

admittedly, they're not the best looking thing to have but I also use them on my vette and SUV's as well. It does make it a lot easier to see vehicles in your blind spot with minimum efforts. Also helps when backing into parking spots as well since the parking lines will be in your spot mirror. Just saying.

Correct. Most people do not adjust their mirrors properly.

The only car I ever own, that I felt I needed them was my RX8, they had blind spots. Not on Corvette.

You may be able to adjust your mirrors so there are no blind spots big enough to hide a car, but I wouldn't bet on seeing motorcycles. And if you're on a multi-lane freeway, no way your mirrors can be set to see a guy moving into the same lane that you are trying to move into from the other side.
I simply do a lot of head twisting in those situations, but can see the advantages of the convex mirrors.

As far as motorcycles go, I drive them also and maybe that's where I learned defensive driving. The driver of a motorcycle should expect that most cars are driven by people who couldn't see an elephant, let alone a motorcycle and position themselves accordingly. But a C6 mirrors can be adjusted to see a pedestrian near the rear corners. I know this because when I go to check the PO Box we park in a large lot with lots of distracted people walking all directions. As a pedestrian I'vsurpriseded a lot of drivers who were backing out but I have never missed a pedestrian and I use only the mirrors when backing.
