Default Need suggestions on car battery replacement

Hi All
Thank you for your help in advance!

I am having a problem to where my passenger door only opens once in a while or if I play with the switch by constantly pressing it then it will open 1 out of 50 times... I replaced the latch twice because I was buying them used so I thought I might have gotten a bad one but both were good after testing them. I replaced the door switch. Still didn't fix it. The window indexes and I can hear a clicking under the passenger side dashboard but the door wont open. I had heard that a bad or old car battery can cause this... my car starts and the drivers side works but my battery is original and my Z06 is 2007. I noticed on the battery tender when the meter shows the battery is FULL the door will open then it immediately drops to the half full indicator and it wont work again. So this is leading me to believe it could be the battery being old. what kind of battery is everyone using?
Thank you!

I replaced mine after 5 years with the OEM as it gave me no problems in the 5 years so I figured why switch to another brand.

I would think that any high quality AGM battery that meets the specs on the original would be good. The last battery I bought was from NAPA.

Battery on my leftover '08 Z bought in '09 was dead within 24 hrs of getting it home. Was replaced with a powerful upscale Delco.

Been flawless over the past 5 years, always using a tender.
But if it so much as burps I'll know what to do, get another Delco.

Here in Florida its a wise practice to replace batteries after 4 years. I'd go Delco.

-O, Make it easy on yourself. By an ACDelco battery from your dealer or an ACDelco parts store. Competitive price, excellent warranty, it fits and is sold and serviced everywhere in the US.

I'm working on my second oem battery in an almost ten year old ZO6. My original battery lived almost six years.

I've had 3 batteries in my 05 since new.

1, Original lasted 1 year
2. Optima lasted 1 year.
3. Bosch has been in the car for 6 years, now. Car can sit for 3 weeks, and start like yesterday. Available at Pep boys.

GM tech named Paul at the museum bash says a battery with 120 minutes of reserve capacity is highly recommended for the C6. I see he is scheduled to be back this year 2014
