Default Quick report from the museum bash - PICS FINALLY ADDED!

It's been a beautiful day here in Bowling Green, sunny and mid 60s - perfect conditions for the bash. There are two 2014 C7s here, a Laguna Blue Z51 coupe and a Night Race Blue convertible (non-Z51). They're indoors and roped off so I'm not sure how my photos turned out; if they're any good I'll post them here later.

I've gotta tell ya, the C7s blew me away with how beautiful they are, especially the coupe. Like pretty much everyone else here, I've seen plenty of photos and they certainly look good (especially the ones floating around of the Cyber Gray coupe) but the photos absolutely don't do justice to the car. The sculpting of the body panels is jaw-dropping. As for the interior, it's WAY more upscale than what photos can depict. The car left me drooling.

Also had a chance for some great conversations with Harlan Charles and several of our forum buddies including Bill (AORoads) and David (arcticblast) and his wife Debra. Spotted several forum members' cars including Paul Pearson (talon90), Jay (2vettes), and Brad (TOBASCO).

All in all it's been a great day in paradise. Looking forward to hearing accounts from others who are here.

Always a blast at the bash. Wish I was there. Be sure to say hi to Derwin, yellowC6.

Waiting for pics.

prolly a good thing I am not there....would really feel the need to get a C7. I know I am done once I see one up close.

Thanks for the update, Mike. Sure wish we could have made this year. Does the C7 take away your yearning for that 427 convertible? Patiently waiting for pics....

Another update, pricing was released. 51,995 for coupe, 56,995 convertible. 2,800 for Z51 option. I am surprised, in a good way! Several threads going with lots more details in the C7 section.

The more I think about it, without pics, I'm not sure that this "bash" even exists. Bash, schmash...no pics, no bash.
