Default My experience with... (PIC HEAVY)

a company that has been mention here a lot recently. I will mention/not mention their name based on how they treat me while i am trying to return this defective product they sold me. I tried to install it 1/2 an hour ago and emailed them 15 minutes ago. I am not expecting miracles i would just like to document how things go to maybe help a CF member in the future.

I am not complaining yet(maybe a lil ). As long as they are willing to make it right theres no big deal. This kind of stuff happens. To me, how you treat a customer when stuff goes bad says the most about a company.

I pulled it out of the box and everything looked good, but with nothing to measure its fitment against it was just speculation. Well today was a nice day and i had some time to try to install it. This thing was not made right. Gaps were incorrect, bubbles by the light, and it was curved like a C.

Excuse my amateur photography

In the following pics you can see the curve very well

i thought the same thing but im not putting the kind of pressure it would take to make it sit flush on my bumper. And even so the light fitment is poor at best and the bubbling around the light is a no go.

I appreciate the way you are going about explaining to us the problem, and the respectable approach with the pictures, and also the communication with the vendor, instead of calling them out.

Problems do occur with parts/vendors, however they can be resolved most of the time with both parties satisfied in most cases. I respect you for taking the time to inform me and I hope this is resolved to your liking, as I am also interested in one of those spoilers.

Thanks again, and Good Luck...

You get what you pay...that things look cheap, so I'd expect it to fit cheap.

ha same one that I got. It wasn't that bad though. I have the same issue with the third brake light not sitting flush inside the spoiler, but once it's installed, you can't tell unless you're close, bent down and look up at the light. The fitment was slightly off as well...I had to make one of the stock spoiler holes oval shaped with a drill to get it to fit. Then I just used 3M double sided molding tape on the ends, and all is good. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect OEM for what I paid.

It was the cheapest I could find. I shouldve known better. After watching YouTube vids of others install theirs in 10 mins I knew mine was all wrong.

@mikemaj82

I think even had I done all that it still wouldn't have sit right. So far so good on the return tho. They should get me a shipping label tomorrow and off it goes. If they try to jerk me around I will just file a PayPal dispute and get my money thay way.

hope it all works out for you. I'm pretty sure there were others who had similar problems but they were fixed. I guess it just comes with the territory of paying so little for something.
