Default Belt issues

Hi I am new to the forum and just wondering if anyone may have had the same thing occur with them. 2006 C6 LS2 motor. Took it out for a drive, and this evening I was putting it back in the garage. I heard a little bit of a noise in the belts. Upon closer eval I noticed the A\C belt is off and the top tensioner is really oily. Any thoughts on where oil could be coming from? Thoughts on how the belt may have come off? Also there seems to be a lot of belt particulate all over in the rotational areas of the main belt. (Which is still on). Anyway ideas, thoughts, anything would be welcome.

That could explain the oil. The belt particulate could possibly be from undue tension as the AC compressor was failing over time, or the main belt is itself deteriorating due to age, elements, etc.
