Has anyone herd about or bought from corvette mods in TX?
I am ready to order a vented carbon hood from them and would like to know if its a good company to deal with and also how the quality of the hood is.
hood or bad.. please let me know..pm me if needed, would like to order asap. thanks in advanced.

I've never seen an aftermarket C6 hood that fit well.

That's why I am afraid to pull the trigger.
I figured I would spend the extra for carbon because they hold the shape unlike fiberglass.
I had to make more glass hoods fit that took more work than it was worth.

Are you doing the hood with six rear facing vents??

Yes, but corvette mods hood is around $500.00 cheaper.
not sure if its a case of you get what you pay for or not.

There was a thread a couple of weeks back maybe that had one of these hoods that was a total fubar as far as fit goes. Not sure who the vendor was because he didn't say at first then I lost track of the thread. I've had a couple of aftermarket hoods and they fit well with a little massaging at the body shop.

I read it, that the reason I am worried.
I wish he could say where it came from so it could save more of us who buy a bad part.
