Default I think I got a great deal!?!? 12 c6 for 07z

I think I got a pretty great deal. Just wondering what yall think? Obviously I should have bought a Z06 in the first place but I didn't...

My 2012 C6 base cgm with 7200 miles (auto, dual mode exhaust). Paid 41,000 out the door brand new last November.

I found a Honda dealership in GA that took a 2007 victory red Z06 in on trade with 28,xxx miles. Says 1LZ trim however it has heated seats, nav, chrome wheels, garage opener, and steering wheel controls. Priced at 41,995. Typical Z perfect condition and clean carfax.

They gave me 38,125 for my car and I talked them down to 39,250 out the door for the Z. 3.79% financing. (City Chevrolet in Charlotte NC only wanted to give me 34k for mine.)

I understand I could have saved if I bought the Z in the first place but...Was this a great deal none the less?

BY THE WAY I LOVE THE Z06.

sounds great to me!!! Someone f-ed up on the classification of the Z and you benefitted it seems....

check the glove box and see if all those items were factory, or added? I'm assuming to many to be added afterwards.. Or do Z's equip differently?? (I never had a Z) CONGRATS!!

Back of the envelope, to me it sounds like you did get a very good deal on a 3LT Z06.

Not trying to be sarcastic but lets see now you had a 2012 that you traded for a 2007 now that makes sense. You lost almost $4K that makes sense also.

Like everyone else says if you think you got a good deal then it must be.

Enjoy

They gave him a good price on his trade in and a good price on a Z06.

And as as result, he driving a more expensive, better car that he likes more than his 2012 with very little additional cost.

He did get a good deal.

I checked the glove box. 2LZ it is. Thanks for the complements guys.

I know I lost close to 4k however I would have lost a LOT more due to the rapid depreciation of a 2012 base model. Especially with the C7 coming out. That would have made me sick. So this was also a financial decision.
