Default Splitter for OBDII Port

I am looking to add an Aeroforce Interceptor gauge which plugs into the OBD2 port but also have the window valet. So I need a splitter to make both work. I found this on Amazon...

OBDII Splitter Y Cable, J1962M to 2-J1962F, 1ft (145802) : Amazon.com : Automotive OBDII Splitter Y Cable, J1962M to 2-J1962F, 1ft (145802) : Amazon.com : Automotive

Anybody know if it will work? What have you guys done to get multiple OBD2 ports?

I know when I put a pair of Aeroforce Interceptor gauges in my 04 GTO I purchased a splitter from Aeroforce. Not sure if this would allow you to use the OBD port for the valet but it might be worth a phone call or email to Aeroforce.

That looks like a really well made OBD2 splitter.

I got one from Dashtronix to use with a Window Valet and it did work but was not as well made IMHO. I would rather go with the one you found.

Just checking to see how this worked out for you?? I'm going to be in the same position soon with an Elite Commander and another ODBII product...

Thanks!

When I got my Elite Commander, I got whatever splitter Sunset Orange sells. It was a $25 add on to the purchase, and works just fine. I'd have to go pull it out to see what kind it is (if it isn't their custom one), but it works, so I don't worry about it. The one linked above on Amazon is obviously a bit cheaper though.

Seems like a better option might be to either relocate the existing OBD port, or simply splice another one into the wire harness in parallel, and locate the second port in a better location.
