Congrats and welcome!
I recently joined with the same model year coupe, same 1SB option package but in silver.
Mine is a Z51 though, , (improved suspension, front end linkage and brakes) so am I understanding that the Z51 upgrade has nothing to do with particular model years? Is it sill offered on more recent vettes?

Welcome to the Forum. You bought the Classic colors. You will love it here. The knowledge on this Forum about Vettes is amazing.

Z51 available from '05 thru '09. Replaced in '10 by the GrandSport with a few additional goodies.

I've got the 1SB, Z51.
You will get many good miles from that Vette

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new C6! IMO the joy of owning a Corvette comes from the fun things you can do with the car (and the great people you'll meet in the process). Some Corvette owners join local Corvette clubs and enjoy the more social activities, some enjoy cleaning and polishing their car and entering car shows, a small percentage enjoy more competitive activities like drag racing, parking lot autocross events or road course venues. I'm an avid road racer but no matter what your 'poison' is...it's all good. Enjoy what you do with your car!

Thanks! Do you, or anyone, remember what the price difference was between a base coupe Z51 and a "non Z51"? Based on the same 1SB options package? Curious minds want to know...

I've driven my nephew's 2011 Mustang GT. Good car, powerful, easy to drive (in fact, the shifter is better than my M6). But all in all the Vette is superior.
