As long as the car is less than three years old, the bumper to bumper warranty should cover you. If it is an aftermarket tint it will be on your own nickel.

It maybe a safety item. If it's the original windshield and is in fact bubbling / splitting, check with the dealer if they will replace it because of possible safety issues.

I've never heard of a splitting windshield.

it is most likely a warranty item. but to clarify: are you saying the glass itself is bubbling, or are you saying some piece of trim touching the windshield is doing so?

Since we know nothing about your car, year, warranty...

I will say the best mod I did to my 2007 was a new windshield.
On my dime of course but worth every cent.
I love looking through a clear piece of glass.
It is amazing how sand blasted windshields get over a short period of time.

Just the right sun angle will reveal it too.

The laminate inside the windshield in the lower pass side corner looks like water inside the glass.

I checked your info and it appears you have a 2008 Vette, that would take you out of the 3 year/36K miles. I would check with the dealer to see if there is a remedy. If no help from the dealer open a case with GM and see where that takes you-long shot but might be covered under the 5 year corrosion warranty. Good luck, depending on what options you have a winsheild can be from around $1,600.00 and up.

I'd do what rocket sez above. Haven't heard of defective windshields before. I can think of ways it might get damaged down there causing a leak, but that may not be the case. Good luck and tell us how it all turns out.
