Beautiful car. I recently bought a black on black manual 08 w/Z51 option. You will love this car. Battery tender mentioned above is absolutely true if the car will sit for a while. Again, congrats!!!!!

That black thing on the roof commonly referred to here as a "wart" is the satellite antenna. That stereo you have in there is actually better sounding than the factory Nav option from what I've read on here.

Congrats! I am a new C6 owner too. Just bought a black 2007. I'm a blonde (true hair color not blonde) but since owning this car, I am living up to my hair color for sure. I had a Camaro Z28 with some extra stuff added and drove it until I had 200,000 miles on. It's a great car but now that kids are grown, I don't have to transport anyone nor do I want to. The less room the better (in my car)! I had an incident yesterday where car locked me out. I was in the process of getting an extra FOB/key made from dealership. My son wanted a ride and we had a bunch of stuff so put my purse (with FOB and key) and all the other stuff in trunk and the car wouldn't let me in. It was an inconvenient, screwed up event to compliment the ****** week I had this week. Anyway, it seems the FOB didn't communicate to car that it was in my trunk! I'm getting the hang of the paddle shifters and figuring out what everything does, but I feel somewhat stupid on a daily basis trying to find or do things that used to be automatic as I am still getting use to the car (had it a couple of weeks). All in all, I love this car...it's my dream car so what's not to love...
