Default C6 Coupe replacement tires

Hello,
I am Mark, I started life in the forum in the C3 section, but now she is gone and I now have a yellow coupe with 17000 miles. I want to replace my tires and purchase new non-run-flats. I would like a more comfortable ride, what did you guys buy?

Thanks for your time.

Vr
Mark

I just bought Nitto Invo's, but a question like the one you posed will get you 50 different answers.

How is old P-cola? Warrington boy myself, Pensacola Catholic High grad.
........and here we go

Hankook evo 12 ..I'm on my second set. The ride is nice as is the performance. Car and driver test rated these just behind the Michelin ps2 s...

Discount tire ships them delivered for $750 and GM dealers will price match.

Excellent tire excellent price.

JMO and enjoy that c6

Do you want runflats or not, good options on both types of tires.

For a non runflat, I have used the Firestone Wide Oval Indy 500 tires, and have just 30K miles on them, and still 4/32" thread left.
They have a great thread design that repels water, good ride and very quiet compared to the GY runflats that came with the car.
We do long road trips, and I've driven in some pretty heavy rain during some of those trips, and the tires worked flawlessly with no hydroplaning at highway speeds.
My trips are documented in my albums (enlarge 1st pic, and in the comment section, you can see how much rain we ran into in 2012 road trip.)

I am replacing those tires with another set of Firestones.

I use the RFT, but I am on my 4th set and like them a lot.

Michelin Super Sports just came out in your size. They are pricey but worth it.

Welcome to C6 land! I'm hoping to some day also join C3 land.

Another thing to consider is the weather in your area. If you'll be driving year round you need to decide on all-season vs summer tires. The topic has been discused to death here, so you'll find a lot of pros cons and tire wars if you do a search on it.

Good Luck!

Mine just came with four new BFG's G-force KDW's when I bought it today, rides really smooth and the dealership told me they are sticky. I didn't try to spin em because I cant afford new tires at this point(just bought the car!) They look cool too.

I like to keep mine stock. I got gen 2's goodyears. However whatever you buy try shopping price with Pete Moore. My new tires were less than the "tire" guys. Talk to Jimmy in service. cutnout aka Charlie

PS I drive from Milton to shop there--service too.
