Default HUD not working

I have a 2007 that the cruise control didn't work on. I got great advice to unhook the battery and that fixed the problem, but now my HUD doesn't work. Looked in the manual for a fuse, but it doesn't show which one it is. Any suggestions?

Did you try unhooking the battery?

Are you using a different fob? IIRC, the memory features (3LT option group) can tie the HUD brightness & position to a specific fob.

Anyway, try the HUD controls.

First get max brightness (+). The try the up/down adjustment.

Just to clarify, your HUD was working and now it doesn't work? By "not working" do you mean that the display is blank? Did it happen suddenly or gradually? Do any of the HUD controls do anything? Can you see it moving when you press up/down and look into it? Can you see the "ring" around the edges? As much info as possible might help.

Also, the fuse on my car is in the interior passenger footwell fuse box, marked Clstr/Hud. Possibly it was different on your model year.

Didn't try that. It stopped working as soon as I tried it after hooking it back up.

I'm using the factory key fob and I've tried using the HUD controls with no luck.

Yes, it was working fine then after I unhooked the battery, it suddenly stopped working. No response from the HUD controls and I don't see anything on the windshield.

Thanks. I'll look in the fuse box, although the owners manual didn't show a fuse for it , but there must be one.

Even if the fuse looks good, replace it anyway.

You might get lucky and have the right-size SPARE in the passenger-footwell fuse box.

Edit... See pgs 420 - 426 in the online owner's manual: http://www.gmpartshouse.com/download...07corvette.pdf

if cluster lights are working the HUD fuse is fine. To check fuse look under passenger side footwell for Fuse.

Page 422 in the 2007 owners manual.

There are two fuse boxes. Look at the interior fuse box, second column on page 422.

Thanks, guys. I'll check out the fuse. Haven't noticed if the cluster lights still work. Hopefully, it's just the fuse.
