Approx 3 weeks ago I received a call from Chris Chessnoe of Callaway that a man named Tim from PA had called in to Callaway Headquarters and he was seeking a 25th Anniversary Callaway RPO B2K. Tim called me later that day and had many questions and upon answering them I also forwarded RPO B2K info/specs. Tim took the 140 mile drive South yesterday and picked up his new Corvette...not just any Corvette but the one he was dreaming about. I called Chris Friday evening and told him that Tim was coming down so Chris made a special point to show up and meet Tim and give him his special 25th Anniv Callaway book that each owner receives...signed by Reeves Callaway of course. Tim B said he will be a great Ambassador for Callaway and plans on showing this special edition every chance he gets! I am sure he will show it at Corvette's at Carlisle in the Callaway Corral. Look for Tim as he will be the one with the perma grin as he was like an 8 yr old kid on Christmas eve yesterday.

Some people pm'd and emailed about this special edition Callaway. Only 25 were built in conjunction with Chevrolet. All produced on the same day in April 2012 and once completed they were shipped out to Callaway Hdqtrs for all their top quality work. Criswell Chevrolet is one of approx. 27 Callaway dealers across North America....
I sold Callaway the Pilot car #00 and also sold #'s 2,3,22 and 25. Not bad considering only a limited production of 25 were built.

Figures it would take Mike to sell the very last 25th Anniversary Special Edition Callaway......very fitting since he sold the Callaway Factory the original pilot car to get this whole production off the ground in the first place.
The badging is well thought out on this car. Especially the fuel rail covers and the G.S. carbon fiber badging above the front fender gills. Really like the uniqueness of the serial number of production on those fender badges.

Got to meet the owner of number 3 and see the car in person, and it's amazing. What a beautiful car, and a nice guy owns it.
