I'm assuming you have an auto, because my squalls very loudly when I grab 2nd with my 6-speed.
It would spin like crazy and only whine with the Goodyears, but the Bridgestones just bite and let you know you have broke traction.
Sounds like the old days with the musclecars when I get on it hard.

Can't wait for my Michelin super sports to arrive.

hahaha, this happens to me all the time in my manual 2009 LS3 coupe.... The questions I should be asking people here is... how the heck do you launch this baby without breaking free and burning rubber through the intersection (although that is fun too)...

I have hooked the GY run-flats better than I expected after following the advice in the FAQ.
On the street, when I accidentally break free, the GYs just sound like there is an inch of sand between the wheel and the pavement. In some parts of Texas, this may actually be the case.

I roll into the throttle very quickly, but not quite a mash. Then at about 20 mph/3,000 rpm, I may have to ease off a little as the engine gets into the good part of the power band.
This varies widely depending on temperature and road surface.

Drifting
My '13 GS 6 manual is very dangerous on concrete surface NO bite at all is much better on warm asphalt, will chirp going into 2nd & sometimes 3rd depending on shift point RPM's

I have an A4 and it spins in 2nd and chirps in 3rd. I had the shift pulswidth shortened and the shift pressure adjusted to 60% over factory in my transmission tune. I love those barking 19's.
