Default DVD music in a 06

Is there a way to play DVD music in the DVD player in my 06 C6?
I checked the manual and it does not address the topic. Is the NAV disc the only thing it will read?

We've been told by others here that it will not play DVD music, but I don't have any first-hand knowledge on the subject.

What is DVD music? If its exactly what the name implies why not play CD music in the CD player?

I have a series of tutorials that would take up MANY CD's . In addition, my wife has combined about a hundred of our favorite songs on one DVD. In my opinion, DVD technology far surpasses CD.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. Unfortunately DVD technology far surpasses the technology in the C6 nav too.
BTW, I've burned over 100 songs (mp3) on one CD that works fine in the nav CD player.

why? i'm totally satisfied with mine. it's not like i'm relaxing at home listening to my sunfire surround speakers, which put out 400 watts each in 8" high speakers. IT'S A CAR, in which the system is seldom on due to my getting pleasure out of my exhaust.

Burn your songs as ".MP3" files.

You are right ! MP3 is the way to go with the music.
Thanks Fellas.
