Default Made my own padded leather center console

This was easy and cheap. The leather cover came from UK, bought it through eBay. Took 6 days to get here.

For the foam, I ended up finding padded memory foam floor mats at Walmart for $9. They were perfect consistency and easy to cut.

I've got to redo the stables and flex out some areas (in pic see right bottom, its doubled over gotta cut the leather a little) but for now it's good.

Took me an hr.

Keeps your arm perfect in line with the shifter.

Once I'm happy with the lay of the leather in gonna spray tac it and restaple.

Lisa, the leather came stitched. If you ebay search "Corvette armrest" you will find the UK seller selling these.

It's amazing how more sturdy, and rigid adding the padding makes the center console. No more movement.

Really any pad that .5 inches will work.

Thanks for all the info Chester. My husband had a fit when I told him I was wanting to get a padded console lid.

Lisa
Might do this one without saying anything
