Hello everyone,
Hope someone can help me. My cruise control indicator on the dash does not come on. The cruise control engages and works fine. I get the display on the DIC indicating speed. If someone had the same problem , can you give me an idea where to start? I thought about the fuse, but don't want to start fiddling with it, if it'll not solve the problem.

What "cruise control indicator on the dash" are you referring to? (Hint: There isn't one.)

There was one that showed on the dash and also in Hud. It looked like a small gear. Mine went also. I havent taken it in yet, figured it would cost more than what it is worth. Also mine was a 05.

2005 had an indicator? WOW, I learn something every day. It was eliminated in the 2006.

My 2006 DIC just indicates CRUSE SET & speed

I use it so seldom I've never noticed or cant remember. I'm checking it next time I go out.

Yes there's one. The indicator would come on to identify you were in cruise control. You also see the wording on the DIC, but I do remember it on the instrument panel right above the fog lights indicator. Like you said, looks like a small gear. My cruise control works, but no indicator light. It also mentions it on the manual with a picture. I was wondering if others had the same problem and what corrects it.

well - never noticed that on my 05 (had it 2 yrs) -- will definitely look for it on the way home from work today --- I use the cruise a lot.

I believe you. I've only used it maybe 2 times a couple years ago and don't remember that being there.

My '05 definitely does not have it. I don't even see the trace of the icon in the instrument cluster.

Same here. I checked it this morning in the dark on the way to work. Cruise works and shows on the DIC but no gear.

Just went for a drive and my 05 doesnt have it either. The manual is wrong.

Then maybe I'm 'losing it'. I thought I had seen it on the instrument panel, but maybe I confused it with the one on my EXT. Perhaps the manual is wrong. Any other 05 owners that can clarify? It just bugs me cause I recall seeing it.
