I have had many offers in the past. EVERYthing is for sale at a great offer. When asked for a down payment or write up a contract ....... it suddenly becomes, I should ask my wife, I can't cash my cds for another six months, and the list goes on.
When I make an offer which I can live with and the owner says yes... I immediately give a down payment and get a receipt.
Believe me there are alot of phonies out there trying to impress friends, ladies, or them selves.
To me an offer is accompanied by money... if it is worth considering.
