Default Brighter DRL replacement

I'm a longtime biker who appreciates the value of being seen while on the road, and I've made quite a few mods to my bike's lighting to enhance its visibility, especially in daylight. I've watched approaching C6's on the road in the daytime and wonder if brighter DRL's are available, as I would like more illumination during the day without running the headlights if possible. My car is black and I've read where black is one of the least visible colors available. Is anyone aware of a brighter DRL/turn-signal bulb? If available, do they require a resistor to avoid hyperflash? The stock bulb is a 5702KA and a search didn't reveal a brighter alternative anywhere.
