don't know why these cars are such bug magnets, guess it is the aero shape.
Use Rejex and the bugs won't stick as readily and are easier to clean off.
The only other chrome I have is the license plate holder, and exhaust tips. I've seen people add chrome to just about every conceivable orifice, but im good with the wheels, tips, and exhaust holder. None under the hood either.
After I went with a thin, unimposing black license holder purchased at Auto Zone, as my car is a black and I thought it would blend in better. The only other chrome or SS on my car is the stock front and rear flag emblems and exhaust tips.
I don't like anything chrome on a Corvette: too 50-60's. Sorry.
I have a new C7 on order - first thing on the list: Remove all chrome: i.e., Stingray emblem and rear "CORVETTE" lettering.
Allow me to exercise the 1st amendment, according to all the replies here there 19 people in favor of chrome and only you against.
