I saw on the website you can purchase the ticket online $150 bucks for current raffle...only 1500 tickets sold... sounds like decent odds.
anyone ever do this online?
is it ligit ?
is it a scam ?
Thoughts?? considering taking a chance !

I did but didn't win, I recall some posts of members who did post winning.
If you purchase a ticket, make sure to read it all. You will need to pay the taxes up front of receiving the car, (taxes on the cash value of the car as income)

I just bought the ticket for the 1 out of 1500 vette the next drawing coming up... i figure its worth a shot at 150 bucks. you never know... lately a few people have won a million dollars on powerball in my town, the odds of that are no where even close to 1 out of 1500.
not to mention i love to gamble and the odds in AC are worse than that as well so why not lol

they have them all the time, several going at once most of the time. While i've never bought a ticket yet, it seems legit and they are making A LOT of money on each car they raffle off. Think about it, just on the one car you bought a ticket for 1500 tix at $150 is $225,000!!! Even on a $100,000 car thats a decent profit. Plus like i said they have multiple going all the time, they don't need to scam.....

I signed up for their text message alert every Thursday. The text tells you what car is being raffled, the number of tickets available for sale and the number sold to date. I receive it every Thursday at approximately 1pm.
I just purchased a 2013 GS in May, so I won't be buying any raffle tickets for a while

The raffles are legit, not a scam and while you may not win someone always does. They will raffle the car regardless of how many tickets were sold for a particular raffle.

I have purchased several tickets online. I have never won but a member of our VT club has won twice! He has a one of one 2010 GS and a 2012 100th anniversary ZR1 to prove it! I was at the museum during the drawing the for the Andy Pilgrim 427 with a ticket in the basket but again did not win! Took this picture though. Dang!
It's fun to try though!
Good luck!

What if you win and cant get off of work to go to the museum to do pickup ? can you have it shipped or something? although I can't see my boss not letting me take off if I won a corvette lol

Well, of course you can have it shipped but it will be at your expense. There are any number of transportation companies that perform such a service with automobiles. The museum will work with you on timing of picking up the car as well as help to arrange transportation if you needed it.

I've done this twice in the past for the Z06 raffles. You can actually watch them do the drawing live through one of the web cams on the site. I have read that if you do win you need to show up with the amount you owe in taxes for winning it to be able to drive away with the car.

I've done it once. Didn't win but I figure what the heck, somebody has to win. They don't send you the raffle tickets in the mail or at least I didn't get any the time I purchased some.
