Ive had lots of convertibles and often get and give"vert waves"
Wrangler owners almost always wave at each other,get that a lot in my jeep.
Mustang owners are less likely to wave, though I do wave at other green mustangs.
Ill wave back at anyone that waves at me
If all goes as planned I hope to be getting my first corvette wave next summer.
keeping all the different 'waves' sorted will likely be impossible. maybe ill just keep one hand up when not shifting.

I'd say an XLR is one of the few exceptions that would still be considered in the Corvette family. Generally speaking, anyone that's in the Corvette family would be considered the same. However, anyone that waves will always get a wave back.
