I always get a kick out of the chrome VS. black wheel back and forth on the forum. I'm painting my daughters C6 base coupe to match mine next week but what to do about the wheels? I let them decide since it's their car. All 3 voted chrome! What's up with that?????? Here's the pic.

Thank-you. Now, if I could just find the time to enjoy mine like they do theirs. 3 hours and counting and they're still out driving and crashing into things. Everything except mine, which I keep entirely out of harms way. Gotta train em early. Did the same thing with my now 21 year old and he's now an enthusiast himself.

I have chome on the C6, but i'm liking the black on the C7. Too many decisions... color, wheels, transmission...arrrgh.

They need a big brake kit on that ride! Oh, and carbon fiber a-pillars, and colored lettering on the rear bumper, and lowering bolts, and a shift kit, and Z06 splash guards, and a Borla ATAK, and DS Corvettes shift boot, and Caravaggio seats, and..........

I would not want to argue with those three I think you will not win. As far as black v Chrome, not sure if it is an age thing or a color think. Black look good on specific colors while chrome look good on others. In your case black always look good on black cars. I actual am an old fart (67) and I guess I just split the middle. Monterey Red with black chrome wheels. Best of both worlds.

Chrome just looks awesome on a GS,I did the black wheels on my C-5 for years time for a change.

Go chrome. I've never cared for black wheels. I guess they would look OK with white tires though.
