Default Driving gloves

Recently tried several different types of leather driving gloves and all were to slippery when matched with the steering wheel of my C6.

Any of you drivers found a good driving glove?

Why would you want to wear leather driving gloves? Is it for convertible top down winter driving or something?

I purchased these gloves about a year ago for driving during the winter. They are very nice quality..

Rawlings baseball hitting gloves. I buy them one size too small, stretch the **** out of them and then they fit nice and tight but of course you might try on one size that fits you perfect from the start. I'm never that lucky. I sometimes wear them on really cold days but not often.

Bionic driving gloves are a good buy. Do a search on Amazon.com.

Get yourself some of them long yellow rubber dishwashing gloves. If they stick to soapy dishes, they should be killer for racing events.

(Highly suggest you do not admit to doing this or even attempting to do so)

On a serious note, Autozone has some cheap $5.00 mechanic gloves that are now all rubberized and snug to the hands. Very little in thickness. I am not sure what the name brand is, but I thought about picking up a set for mechanical work and/or any unforeseen racing event(s). I think they are all black too, so they wouldn't stand out as much as the dishwashing gloves idea. Hahahaha

Can someone please tell me the benefits of driving gloves over your bare hands? Living in Minnesota and being forced to wear gloves in the winter, I cant imagine why anyone would voluntarily choose to do so.

The ONLY time I would consider driving gloves is when the car sits in the Arizona sun & the wheel is way too hot to touch even for a second, then gloves would come in handy for the first couple of minutes until it cools down.

^ I believe I can answer your question. The benefit of them is that, your Smoking Jacket, Silk Ascot and Pipe are such a fashion failure, without your Driving Gloves.
