My first corvette- 05 triple black 6 speed convertible- love at first sight
Figured I'd introduce myself to the forum and post some pics, my names Josh and this is my dream car. I picked up the car back in march from a gentlemen that was very particular with his cars and kept them meticulously clean and maintained. She had 23k on her when purchased
She was 100% bone stock when I got her with all fluid changes up to date including the rear diff. It came fully loaded with the z51 handling/braking package, 6 speed, heated seats, navi, heads up display, everything I wanted my new corvette to have.
As you can see the interior is absolutely mint as if off the showroom floor, still had the factory plastic on the passenger side floor mat.
I drove it for about a month stock and very content but as any true car enthusiast I wanted to make it better, and so started the upgrades
First i did a little searching to see what the best intake would be and that was the Calloway honker intake system that I got for a steal on eBay... $172.50 shipped brand new! Normally they cost $450-$500
After the intake the car was still very quite so I did some more research and went with the lg long tube headers with hi flow cats and matching x pipe.
Next step with the check engine light on after the installation due to no down stream o2 sensors It was time for a dyno tune by the best tuner i could find, this led me to Doug at ecs (east coast sipercharging) who is an absolute genius when it comes to tuning anything lsx
She put down 387 whp and 392 ft lbs of torque, bout what you'd expect from an ls2 with barely any mods.
At this stage I took her to the track with a few friends and ran a 12.5 with a very ****ty launch, definitely has high 11's in her with a perfect launch and ideal conditions but the clutch gave me a scare by sticking to the floor on a 1-2 shift so needless to say I was done.
As it sit I was very content but the car was still to quiet so I purchased a Corsa extreme exhaust system with 4" tips to help make her sound just right
I've done a few other little things such as Lloyd's floor mats, led interior lights, hid fog lights to match the oem hid low beams and a lingenfelter t-stat
At this stage I'm quite happy and just want to enjoy driving her and finish these payments, then it's time for the real fun to start

Congrats, very nice! The inside of mine was all black as well. Except for the silver console and other two parts on dash. I painted those gloss black and really looks good. Something to think about. Enjoy your new toy!!!

Congrats and enjoy, she's a beaut!!
I also went with LG longtubes with high flow cats and Corsa. LG did the install and tune. 107,000 miles of smiles with 0 problems due to mods.

Thanks guys I appreciate the positive feedback and look forward to bringing her to my first Corvettes at Carlisle. I finally convinced my dad to go to check out some vettes, he has a 84 corvette that continuously overheats with the infamous crossfire fuel injection (horrible but still got me into corvettes at a very young age) so I'm trying to convince him he needs to upgrade. Here's a pic of the corvette family
