What are you OCD over?

I wasn't OCD until I bought my Corvette!!!! You'd be hard pressed to find anything crooked or dirty anywhere near my car - God help me, I yelled at a tire guy for coming within 10 feet of my car with dirty gloves on. SAVE ME!!!!! I just bought a new MCS steering wheel on Friday, and it's now quite obvious that the last alignment done on my car was not done with the wheel straight, so I'm off to the shop tomorrow for a new front end alignment so the wheel can be perfectly straight when I'm driving. There's no helping me now! I've gotten so bad, I'm showing other people how to close their doors so they don't get finger prints on their own car.

Another one for me is when I'm at a redlight I wiggle the shift **** every an excessive amount of times to make sure that I'm in neutral before I release the clutch pedal.

My wife's car (family carrier) is parked next to my vette in the garage...my 4 yr old son will wait for me to open his door (next to the vette) because he knows that's the rule when my vette is there...lol

My OCD Issue is that while driving my car I am always looking ahead for garbage in the road that could possibly get flung up onto my Corvette by the car in front of me. I hate paint chips!

I'm guilty of wiping my Nav Screen, Air Conditioner screen, buttons, dash; the interior of my Vette often. One day, the Wife and I was driving home in the Vette when I decided to whip out my trusty microfiber towel and wipe my Nav screen, etc. I was just about done when to my surprise, Wifey took the opportunity to smear my screen with her fingers and smiled at me!! I was but remained and laughed it off. She's the only one that can get away with such a stunt.
Other OCD issues:
- Leaning on my Corvette
- Slamming my door
- Fingerprints
- Sloppy service technicians
- Where I park my Corvette
- Dirty floor mats; I clean them after every trip.
- Good wipe down, detail between and after every drive
- Clean exhaust tips
- I remove the each wheel and wash & wax

Other than that I just try to keep it clean, but have no fear of driving it every day.
I just changed the fog light blackouts as one took a big rock hit and broke. Man those things took a beating!! Pitted and sandblasted all to heck. Paint looks very good on the nose.....1 small chip in the clear. Very pleased at how well the AW is holding up.

I think I was more OCD with my Trans Am... but one carry over is door slamming, especially with the window down.. and parking... got to have a good safe spot... have the wife trained well with regards to those two as well..

I'm not OCD over anything with mine. It is a car, driven almost every day including during the winter months. It is washed and waxed frequently and is well maintained, but many models have been photographed in it and on it. My only rule there is no 'hard' or 'sharp' items on clothing or body.
Don't get me wrong, I take care of my car. At 7 years in service and 46,000 miles, it looks as good today as when new.
Enjoy your cars!

Picking up thongs left by girls and then having to remind them not to leave stains on my seats and shift ****...... So irritating!!!...... Next time , I'm just gonna hand them some armor all wipes before entering my Z....... Very disrespectful and very annoying for me!!
