Who's keeping their C6? -- Who's not?

I bought my 07 new with 2 miles on it and now I have over 155K. I plan on keeping my Vet until it is no longer economically feasible to repair or replace parts.

I bought my 13 GS after the C7 reveal. I'll be keeping mine for quite a while.
Well that's outstanding!! Good for you.

Keeping my C6... Don't care for the C7 and in another couple of years the C6 Z's will be in the low $30's. I will then get one of those or maybe even a ZR1 when they dip into the $50's...

I will be enjoying my C6 for a while, however I will end up in a C7 in a few years when I find a nice pre-owned, and I'm ready for a change.

Very happy with my '13 GS. Keeping my C6 till they bring back the round taillights and curved rear window . . . I guess that may be the C8, C9, C10, or never.

There is a reasonable chance that a C7 will be in my future, but not as a replacement for my 427 Convertible. So time will tell how long it will be before it is realistic for us to be able to add a C7 to our garage.

I figure in about 3-4 years, my C6 will have 100K miles on the clock, so it will be time for a C7.

I'm keeping my C6, I personally like the C6 wide body look better, and the C7 performance figures aren't really impressing me all that much. I'll reserve judgment until I drive a C7 and I may add one as a companion to my C6, but if I go that route it will be a C7 ZO6 or ZR1 if they build either one.

Excellent question and I was considering to post this very same topic.
At the time when the C7 rednerings were available, I stumbled across two Arctic White C6Z06's at Boardwalk Chevrolet.
Without any hesitation, I called and spoke with Tim. For the first time in all of 9 years the C6 was available, this was the only time I was interested in a C6, and, found in the color combination, options, and pricing I was after.
My GF said "YOU DESERVE IT - DO IT!"
So, after a few days of contemplation, back and forth with Tim over the numbers, financing, etc....I went to the nearest Federal Express to drop off my Down Payment. Before I dropped half of my savings in an envelope via form of a Cashier's Check, I called my GF one more time for a sanity check.....She confirmed, "DO IT."
So, on December 22, I took delivery of one of the two Arctic White C6 Z06's available at a steal of a price.
Now as we lean forward into the C7 renderings of the possible "High Performance" version or the "ZO7" renderings, I am having a hard time sitting still.....
However, pricetag itself will dictate a "Yea" or "Nay".....But, if it were up to the GF, she'd probably say "Get a bigger garage."

I really love my '427' and will probably be keeping it 3-5 years. I bought the 427 after reviewing the C7, and I'm glad I did, it's a really fun car.
I'll enjoy the C6 for a few years and perhaps go to the Porsche, or back to Benz. I think G.M. formulated it's styling direction with the angular C7, and though I think the C7 is real advancement as far as technology, materials, & performance, aesthetically it is not for me.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Would love to have a C7 parked next to my C6. But it will not replace it unless it starts needing expensive repairs.....which I doubt.
My wife says she can not see my ever getting rid of my baby. Very unusual for me to keep a car this long. In fact this is the longest I have ever kept a car, except for my 51 IH (been in the garage since 1992) but that does not count.
Hope I can swing a C7 in 2 to 3 yrs.

Just like any of my other garage toys I will keep it until I get bored with it. Then I move on to something else, not sure if it will be a C7 or a Jaquar, Porsche, or some other sportscar.

Buy it? Didn't buy it? Why? Model? Cost?
My wife is looking for a crossover, and the Encore is one of the cars on her short list.
We have about 4 months to go before we have to make a decision, but she's started the shopping process early.
Thanks....
