I purchase a 1970 chevelle with a 307 in 1986. it had 32,000 miles on it and was flawless. I ended up selling that to purchase red 1966 mustang gt with a 289.
1959 ford, had to trade it in after my dad took it to Juarez and "decorated" the steering wheel. The best part of the story is the car I traded for was a 265ci 3 speed on the column 55 CHEVY!!!!!
1972 Buick Skylark 4 door. Had a nice little 350 with bench seats that I managed to squeeze 9 people in. It came with Aftermarket wheels/tires and I added a paint job along with a nice stereo system. Traded a $400 mustang for it in 2002 and sold it for $2,000 in 2005. Only had about 56,000 miles on it. I miss that car. Most comfortable ride ever and you could steer it with one finger. It came back up for sale a couple years back but I didn't jump back on it.
1963 Corvair Spyder Coupe. White with Tan interior. Bought it in June 1964 and kept it until 1968 when I traded it for a 1968 Camaro RS. Wish that I still had both cars.
The first new car I bought was also a 1964 GTO, 389 with the 3 deuces. I bought in in April 1964 and had to sell it in November 1965 when I was drafted. I loved that car.
My first was also a 64 GTO. Convertible, 4-spd, 3 deuce. Sold it in 1970 for $800.
My first car was a 1940 Ford 4 door sedan with suicide doors and a flat head V8. Sure am glad we are able to afford new cars and especially the
Vettes.
