Hey Dennis, I've had the 9022 for about 3 years now and love it. Unfortunately they discontinued it and looked like they weren't going the high end route again but I see they have. My question is do you think the Nav firmware of this unit would update the Nav firmware in my unit? Screen sure looks the same.

the firmware will not even be close to the same.
If you try it you will end up bricking the radio and have a nice double din paper weight.

You can almost get that for a used nav system so this is like a free upgrade. If I wasn't leaving for Afghanistan in a few weeks I'd probably jump on this. Looking forward to hearing some customer's reviews on it.

any review of this unit? How good is the iGo maps compared to Garmin in Kenwood? How is the audio quality with stock speakers?

Thanks Dennis. I actually meant software. My nav runs off the SD card. I have the name and ver # around here some where. It would be nice to update mine...

This was the first one of these we have installed since the radio is brand new. We have shipped out 17 other packages as well so hopefully other will chime in to help you with answers. I always like the feedback coming from a customer and not just me being the one who is trying to sell it to you
