Ack! We've become the new C5 forum! Oh well. I'll just look forward to my first wave from a C7...

I do go to the C7 GD and see what is going on but I totally enjoy my car. If I made any changes it would be to a GS.
Enjoy what you have and be thankful for it. There are many who would love to have the cars we own.

I thought the same thing about the first two wives, but that maintenance was awful.

I'm keeping the last one, since I bought her outright. Oh yeah, I mean the car as well.

"We are officially....................OBSOLETE" What? My C6 is far from being obsolete (at least as far as I define the term). My C6 is still very functional, used, relevant and enjoyed immensely. Why be so depressed simply because the C7 is out? Some may criticize certain aspects of the C7 but by virtually all accounts it's a vastly improved car (as well it should be). The C6 may no longer be the latest generation but that doesn't diminish the C6 in any way. The C6 is still a great car....enjoy it!

Although it could be 'hazardous,' I'm anxious to see a C7 in person. I've got reservations about the appearance of the C7 but technologically and performance-wise the C7 sounds great. Who knows....my reservations about the looks of the C7 could change once I see one. I can't see selling my C6 and I don't buy a new car just to have the latest-greatest but I do impulse buy on occasion.

I guess I'll just putt along in my obsolete '427', .... occassionally checking my rear view mirror to see if one them there newfangled C7's is trying to catch up.

Hogwash. Chatter there about a couple of trannys blowing up and cars getting sent to prison in nashville with no explanation. No thanks. I am sticking with what I know works!

Hmmm, I wonder what the first C7 I encounter is going to think when my obsolete C6 spanks it and sends it home with its tail between its legs?

*Disclaimer* I do love ALL Corvettes BTW

Poor me.

Not worried about being a generation back, all Corvettes are special IMO.

I know this is a biased opinion, but, the C6 still looks classy, sexy and new. perhaps, and I'm just throwing this out there, it's because it was the first year without hidden lights. therefore you have the gens of peek-a-boo lights and now the two that don't.

Meh, the C7 looks too boy racer to me after seeing one in person.

I'm happy to say that I own the best looking generation, the C6.

The whirlwind of excitement that the C7 has caused brought the Corvette name back to the forefront of the automotive world where it belongs. I'm thrilled to hang on it's coattails with my '12.

The average Moe can't tell the difference anyway.

We are officially....................OBSOLETE.
Aw common' Randy, that's depressing, and not true at all. I know you were just stirring up a thread.

Sure, and it will be very interesting to follow the issues that develop with the C7, while we're all here warm and fuzzy in C6s with everything already sorted out, and answers for everything.

Absolutely, no one owns my '13 GS, but me!

Just for nostalgia, here's a few photos I took, only 2 hours after my car came off the carrier, just a few months ago.

They're not great photos, but my hand was shakin' too much to hold the camera!
