Default Help with codes, Please

Had this problem before, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-s...sometimes.html

But it started acting up again and I got some codes when I ran a scan, first set of codes engine just cranks, won't start. Then about 30 min later it fires right off so I run another scan everything same but #6, need help with where the connectors are located.

Has the car ever had the PAL installed (Ipod adapter)? It connects to the Class 2 data bus wire under the dash, above your left foot when sitting in the drivers seat. If it was removed, maybe the wire is shorting causing a loss of communication on the Class 2 data bus.

Battery checks good with load test, about a year old.

No PAL installed, but they did replace radio under warranty. Do I need to remove cover with footwall light to get to wire?

The Class 2 Data Communication wires run all over between the computer boxes, the one I mentioned is just the one that I used to hook up the PAL. If your car has a short in the class 2 bus, it's gonna be hard to track down. And yes, the footwell cover would have to come off to get it that particular wire.

BTW, the radio is tied into the class 2 bus, did your issues start right after the radio head unit replacement?

Radio was replaced in 08. But I'm thinking it is a loose or bad connection, it runs great if it starts. And it has always started after a few attempts, but I feel my luck is running out.
