Why would there be salt on a road? Do you live by the beach?

This local ad sounds like what you guys need.

Do those snowy, cold, dark, and dreary days of Winter make you yearn for an opportunity to take your prized automotive ride out for a spin? Well here's the solution you've been waiting for.

Start by enjoying a Fall road trip and finish with one in the Spring with as many conjugal visits as you want in between. Join in the automotive activities with any of the nearly 100 car clubs, race at the Bondurant road course, Wild Horse Pass dragstrip, visit some of the 8-10 cars shows any given weekend, or simply relax by the pool.

We will be taking deposits in January for 2014-2015 winter auto storage in warm, dry, and sunny Peoria, AZ. Secure parking with on-site management. Regular start-up and other services available to fit your needs.

Sign up now to secure your spot in line for one of the 20 available spaces before they're all gone.

I still haven't figured out why I live here. 9 months of "crappy" weather and 3 months of "okay" weather. Ugh.

The car is depreciating at an alarming rate and no real monetary adjustment for prestine condition. If you get some salt; wash the stuff off. Not storing mine!

Why park these things. They are cars and won't break in the cold. Just don't drive them when there is snow on the highway and keep the underside salt free. Even when we lived in VT the roads had snow on them only a few days a month.

Same here. It's colder earlier this year, but I drove her today and holding off until they start brining the roads. As long as I can drive her to my retirement ceremony Nov. 7th I'm good. I didn't put her away until the weekend after Thanksgiving last year.

I live in Utah and we get our share of snow. However I will take it out once in a while when it is dry.

Here's a picture of my truck with less than 30k miles after about 6 winters. That's what salt does to vehicles around here, not going to happen to my Vette...

Is that what the new Buick will look like in a few years?

I don't know what they put on the roads in Minnesota but my 2004 Colorado only has some rust at a few bolts, nothing like the frame and suspension on your truck.

It is just a plastic car...

It is meant to be driven and enjoyed.
But keep it looking good, I like buying nice used cars for very cheap.
It is always nice when original owners keep their car perfect for the next owner.
They are not so nice when I discard them with high mileage.

I'm a firm believer in Thanksgiving also. At least. Two winters ago, first year I had it, it never got put away. Didn't snow much and got driven every other week if roads were dry (also slower than summer months). Then rinsed underside at a wand wash.

Today's temperatures were so cold it almost made me want to stop looking at C7 pictures and thinking about the next Corvette.

Probably, it makes me sick to think of driving it in all that salt but it is what it is....
