Sunday Surprise
Had planned on taking the Vette to storage unit yesterday for the winter nap but had to take some family members down to Boston airport instead. Figured I would do it this morning. Not happening today. Woke up to an inch of snow. Plow trucks have already spread the dreaded salt! Hopefully it will warm up and maybe rain soon so the roads will get washed off so I can get the storage thing done.

What is it with those sob's and the salt. We barely had a dusting of snow and the roads around here are white with salt already.

I pay 80.00 a month for a spot in a asisted living high rise. Most of the residents dont drive so the under ground parking has spots for rent.72 degrees all winter people in the home use it to walk around in the winter months which is from nov to may.About 30 miles from my home. Go every month to look at it.Its like going to a car show in the garage alot of nice cars stored there.

Boy how I hate this time of yea. I sit here a read all the different post on storing of our cars and then I look out the window and say it looks like another great day for a drive with the top off. The benefits of living in Florida. I always feel sorry for all you northern members that can only enjoy the car for 6-7 months of the year.

Are you near MacMulkin, or do you know if they salted near MacMulkin's? A few of us are planning on taking our vettes for a cruise there tomorrow morning to look at some eye candy---hear he has a few C7's there. Thanks.

Put the GS to bed a couple of weeks ago and I pay $35/month for 6 months...next year it will be $25/month at a friends place close to me... I always tell our pals in Florida to not feel sorry for us up North as we get to snowmobile and have fun in the winter....can't stand any temps much past 80F....

I think you are okay, we are 30 to 35 miles north of McMulkin Chevrolet, and that can be significant in NH. Enjoy your trip.

Yeah... I couldn't believe the snow/hail last night in northern Westchester Cnty NY... we were out at dinner and on the way home it's blowing all over the place and... low and behold... the big slat trucks were coating the main roads... Really?? We had ZERO accumulation. It's cold as hell today with 25-30 MPH winds, but no accumulation of snow and no need for salting... needless to say, we really didn't have any Cars and Coffee this morning. I think it will rain next week, so hopefully it all gets washed away. I'm not ready to call it quits yet this year, but man it is cold out there today!!

Well maybe a little. by the way, I missed you at the Ultimate Corvette and Chevy show yesterday. But maybe that is why I was able to win the first place trophy in the C6 class because you were not there.
