Considering someone just conveniently backed into the front of my car I am now thinking of adding the aftermarket Z06 front bumper . I have stock fenders all around and just want to add the bumper only. Has anyone used Ecklers aftermarket Z06 front bumper on a C6???. I want to make sure it will be a perfect fit with no overlapping and the quality of the product is good. I am extremely OCD so if its junk it will **** me off.

Any help would be appreciated

you can do it but it won't be perfect fit because fenders are more wider on z06

No, I believe he is talking about Eckler's fiberglass Z06 'style' bumper that is made to fit the narrow body fenders, not an OEM ZO6 bumper.

It is basically a regular C6 bumper with a Z06 scoop built into it (fiberglass).

I have seen a few forum member's that have this and they looked good. I have no idea how much work the body shops had to do to get them to look/fit right.

Do a search. Forum member "arrowhead" has a yellow C6 'vert that has a C7(a forum vender) Z06 style front bumper. It looks very good but I don't know how the fit/finish was before the body shop got done with it.

Just FYI, the SIC Motorsports Z06 style bumper is another option that is a urethane bumper. I had one on my C6 before I did the front conversion.

It fit pretty good but I did some 'prep' work on it (for the fog light fitment) before I took it to the body shop.

Some people don't like that it has a built in splitter that makes the ground clearance a little less (or just don't like the look).
