Oh those runners look great, there website is lacking detailed info/pics compared to other manufacturers sites iv looked at although that does not preclude them from my decision, just like a lot of tech & pics lol.
So Im guessing your recommending and your happy overall with it?
Where you able to get it shipped to your house or picked up at a freight station?
Thanks for the help.

I purchased my BP HD-9STX about three years ago. At that time I shopped my brains out and found that no one would "discount" a BP lift. They all came from CA. I found a local custom shop that had BP lifts and asked who they purchased from. It was a local company that sold all kinds of auto related equipment. The price was the price that I found everywhere, including the extras. They added my order to the next shipment so I did not pay for shipping. They recomended the installer ($500) and when I was ready (they held the lift at their warehouse), coordinated delivering the lift to my house with the installers ready to assemble it. This is not a DIY project for the average guy. I could have purchased a lesser lift (IMO) for less but this is a one time purchase so quality does not cost more, it lasts longer. If someone will discount it and is not in your immediate area you will pay for all the other steps to get it to your door. Good luck!

I don't have a Bend Pak, but that's the brand I intend to purchase. I found their dealer locator feature on their website to be very helpful, and it led me to a garage equipment dealer/installer that has a good reputation in our area.

My lift was shipped directly to the installer. I do recommend this lift. It was already said that this is a one time purchase. So, buy the best that you can afford. I studied all of the available lifts. I was lucky that I had two friends with this lift and was impressed with its construction. It's hard to judge them by pictures. Good luck with your purchase.

Which would be better for a Vette, the extra wide version or the extra tall version?

I have the HD-9STX which is the long and tall version which works fine for a Vette. I have 13' ceilings and am 6'3" so I wanted to be able to walk underneath with plenty of room, which I have. The extra long is for vehicles like my Avey or 49 Caddy, etc.. The extra wide (HD-9XW) is 117" as opposed to mine @ 100", that's a foot and a half wider to have the ability to widen the distance between the runways less than 7" (36.25" to 44"). It just depends on how much room you have and how large/wide of a vehicle you want to lift.
